Governor Paterson’s Long
Island Trade Mission

Empire State Development announced that the October 1 trade mission to
Long Island was to be the largest in New York State history, with approximately
100 foreign trade officials and business leaders attending. The objective
of
the mission was to attract international trade and investment, to provide
opportunities for business development and to form institutional partnerships
between foreign
delegates, New York companies and leaders of business, political and academic
arenas on Long Island.
In the evening a reception and networking at Wang Center in Stony Brook was
held with Governor Paterson and Long Island companies, with dinner following.
