The new
Xerox ColorCube 9200 office printer uses a technology of
crayon-like chunks of ink which can cut the cost of color
printing by 62%. Current color printing costs about 8 cents
a page and Xerox claims less packaging and materials (no
liquid or toner) make for a product that is easier on the

The New
York City Police Department just added 40 hybrid cars,
American manufactured Nissan Altimas. There are 3,300 hybrids
in the City’s 26,000 vehicle fleet advancing towards
its goal of cutting energy use and greenhouse gas emissions
by 30% by 2017.
