Landscape
with a solar tree. Flexible and efficient, the “tree” has
adjustable, moveable solar “wings” that can
be angled and adjusted anywhere on the roof, lawn or elsewhere
for maximum solar energy. See a picture

A visit to www.idealbite.com offers “bite-sized
ideas for light green living”. It’s fun - it’s
free and is chock full of greenness.
Cars without drivers?
The robotic taxi by industrial designer Kubik Petr has
a cabin and undercarriage driven by two electric motors
in the rear wheels. A call to Robo Taxi will order the
cab to your location. Destinations are programmed through
a touch panel. You just sit back and ride. Futurist? Of
course, but a probable reality by 2100. See it at www.ecofriend.org.
The International
Union for Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources
(IUCN) has a red list profiling thousands of endangered
species. See what they are and how to help save some. Go
to www.iucnredlist.org.
A visit to greenmuseum.org,
a virtual museum of art and green ideas, is an interesting
excursion through the work of artists, craftsmen and others.
Their mission is to help people create, present and appreciate
art that heals our relationship with the natural world.
Try it.
